The Barrx™ ultra long RFA catheter is used to treat short and intermediate non-circumferential Barrett’s esophagus or to provide treatment after ablation.

Main Features

  • Provides easy introduction into upper GI tract
  • Due to a larger (two times) surface area compared to the Barrx™ 90 RFA focal catheter, Barrx™ ultra long RFA focal catheter treats comparable non-circumferential areas of Barrett’s esophagus in less time than the Barrx™ 90 RFA focal catheter
  • Allows positioning within the esophagus and gastroesophageal junction
  • Provides for direct visualization of electrode during procedure
  • Uses standard endoscopic technique
  • Articulated electrode platform moves in 2-D, left to right and front to back, to ensure tissue contact
